On the other hand, even in intercultural communication they give the other a friendly or an unfriendly feeling. They, therefore, have subtle and delicate functions. They can be divided into two categories. One is nonverbal communication when we laugh loudly or just smile. The other is verbal communication when we laugh at humor. These examples are classified according to the function and meaning of laughing and smiling as nonverbal communication.
