We analyzed the data of telop of NHK news programs in 2019 and 2021. As a result, the following two points were clarified. One is that \"education coverage\" in 2021 has decreased from 2019. The other is that there is a bias in areas where the number of reports is decreasing. Specifically, \"educational reports'' on \"incidents/accidents'' and \"trials'' have declined sharply compared to other fields. There are three main possibilities that can be suggested here. First, children and education issues have become social issues that are only reported to compensate for the absence of major social issues such as the COVID‑19 pandemic. Second, \"educational reporting\" on television has characteristics that are different from stories and daily conversations in terms of how it is organized. Third, while the public's eyes are glued to the COVID‑19 pandemic, signs of various important issues are being ignored, or social change is secretly advancing in a direction that is disadvantageous to the people.
