| 内容記述 | I took a survey of a present need for statistics in Yogo teachers' job. Questionnaires were sent to elementary schools, junior high schools, and high schools. The results are as follows; 1) As many teachers as 76.7% positively consider statistics necessary for their job. 2) 76.2% of the teachers have little confidence in their use of statistics. In this regard, there were no significant differences between those positive about the introduction of statistics and those negative about it. 3) More than 80% of the teachers make practical use of their statistics for grasping the needs of pupils. 4) 38.7% of the teachers actually discovered some problems in school health by the use of their statistical analysis. The higher the levels of the schools under survey are, the less these cases occur. 5) As many teachers as 34.7% did not learn statistics at all either in training school or after its completion. 6) The use of statistics in the field considerably depends on whether a teacher has learned statistics or not. | |||||
